BTCN is Corn's native gas token. To exit, you bridge it via LayerZero (same UI as the Corn Bridge app) where it lands as the wrapped form on Ethereum mainnet. From there, the Corn Chain App's Swap tab can convert it to WBTC if you'd rather hold WBTC than wrapped BTCN.
Important: don't bridge all of it at once
BTCN pays gas on Corn. If you bridge 100% out, your wallet has zero gas and any subsequent transaction (including any other bridge) will fail.
Recommended order:
Exit any protocol positions first (Morpho, popCORN, Locker, Uniswap V3).
Bridge any other assets out next.
Bridge BTCN last, leaving a tiny amount (e.g., 0.001 BTCN) in case you need one final transaction.
Bridging BTCN
Add Corn to your wallet — see Connecting your wallet to Corn.
Open the BTCN bridge-out page directly: Bridge out BTCN.
Connect your wallet and confirm you're on the Corn network.
Enter the amount (leave a small buffer in your wallet).
Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Watch the History tab for the status to change from Waiting → Inflight → Delivered.
On Ethereum, BTCN arrives as a wrapped ERC-20. You may need to add the BTCN token to your Ethereum-side wallet manually — see Known addresses for the mainnet contract.
You can also bridge BTCN via Stargate if you prefer their UI — both routes use the same LayerZero infrastructure.
After bridging — convert to WBTC
Once BTCN is on Ethereum, you can swap it for WBTC inside the Corn Chain App's Swap tab:
Pick BTCN as the input and WBTC as the output. The swap is direct, no additional bridging required.
If you'd rather hold the wrapped BTCN form and convert later, that's fine too — it remains a normal ERC-20 on Ethereum.
Help
If your BTCN bridge transaction is stuck, see I bridged but my asset hasn't arrived. If your wallet is out of gas, you may need someone to send you a tiny amount of BTCN — ping us in the Corn Discord.
